چکیده
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of a clinical pathway in achieving antibiotic administration less than 60 minutes for children with cancer, presenting fever and neutropenia. Secondary objectives were to determine association between time antibiotics (TTA) other variables including duration, location care intravenous access types. Methods Following introduction pathway, we collected prospective data about management all cases that did not use across multiple sites over 16 months. A follow-up audit was conducted after 12 Results We evaluated total 453 presentations. Use significantly associated TTA (RR 0.69, 95% CI 0.56–0.85, p = <0.001). Despite varying time, median achieved both initial study period (57 minutes) sustained at (60 minutes). also types device length stay. find any variables. Conclusion Clinical pathways improve this patient cohort. Ongoing education auditing identify factors which impact processes are necessary.
